Since we have already the #itsmorefuninthephilippines, maybe we can also have some of these Philippines domestic tourism slogans:
- Boracay, You Sexy Beach!
- Haller, Baler!
- Bohol: Go To Hill!
- Be Cool, Bicol!
- Thank you, Camiguin!
- Maliit Navotas, Lumalaki!
- We Fly High In Capiz!
- Go Gaga In Naga!
- Kaibigan, Punta Na Sa Vigan!
- Virac, You Rock!
- Kamuning Get Me!
- Better Leyte Than Never!
- Whee! Tawi-Tawi!
- Walang Aayaw Sa Apayao!
- Maraming Gig Sa Taguig!
- Bongga Ka Day, Sa Norzagaray!
- I wanna dance with Zambales, I wanna feel the heat with Zambales!

This made me laugh! :)) Nevertheless, I have to commend the DOT for introducing our new logo and tagline. In my opinion I think they got it right. We are a fun country. :)To those who keep on raining on other people’s parade, stop with this crab mentality. *you either see a glass half empty or half full*

Also, it’s very witty. Click here

It Cannot Wait

I can safely assume that this year is my “concert year”. I’ve been to three this year and it was a blast. Now that my commission from my last job (which kept me alive for the year is nearly off to dust *thanks to my masters tuition*, Im broke but happy).

Back to concerts, last Sunday was… overused and overrated as that word may seem, You are Loved: Jason Mraz Special Acoustic Evening with Toca Rivera was EPIC!

Days before Mr.A-Z even announced the concert officially, my highschool friends and I were already talking about it non-stop, competing who’s the better fan while we’re at it and we were already planning on buying the tickets the day it gets out in the market (and we did). The line was so full the day the tickets were sold but it’s worth it. The concert per se was so worth it I even think we shouldve paid more for what the duo offered.

It was my brother and I’s first Araneta Concert (all others that we’ve gone to were held at SM MOA Concert Grounds) so it’s a nice breath of change considering: reserved seating. you dont need to stand up your chair to compete to have a glance of the person. it’s acoustic so it’s less dancing, jumping and riot free. haha.

Another cool thing about the concert was that there were no front acts. Also, of all the concerts Ive gone to, this was the one that topped the bar when it comes to audience participation. Jason really made it all about the fans. The cool antics in between the songs and the crazy “follow me” after every song was super funny you cant help but do what he wants you to. haha! It was crazy-entertaining. Despite the acoustic-ness of the songs, my friends and I were always ready at our feet and we were jumping as if it were not acoustic especially in choruses. Happiness is wrapped around the whole coliseum. He is gaddamn better, live.

I loved the aura of the concert like it was a jamming session of friends (like that of parokya ni edgar’s). No huge stage presentations or other gimmickry just pure talent. We were even so emotional when he began singing  The Remedy because we were still in grade school when that came out. Happy sigh. Gahd we’re old.

We were even sad that we didnt push thru with the Banner idea. :)) tsk. Also that the people in front of us sneaked their SLRs! tsk. I shouldve tried my luck. JK. Thank God he played Beautiful Mess and If It Kills me. It’s my friend Larry’s theme song for Jannel and I. Haha!

21 songs all in all. We thought it was just 17 songs plus 1 encore. (Im yours) but the Encore added 4 songs… Super fun. 2012 we’ll definitely watch again. :)

Jason Mraz Live! In Manila! WAAAAH!

Dammit! By hook or by crook I am so watching this!!!!!
